2014 vinyl LP pressing on black. This is the debut album of the Brighton-based outfit, whose spooky '60s-inspired pop and rock sounds are curiously similar to the Detroit band 15 years their senior, "The Witches." Kristian Bell's guitars produce fuzzy reverbs while Daniel Rumsey's bass clangs and Gianni Honey bangs his drums simply but stunningly. The result is a sound similar to garage revival and vintage psychedelia. "Grave dweller" and "Wide at Midnight" are fun, clanging tunes, while "Summer Again" and "Track 13" are softer. There's some fresh promise here.
