On Soul Symphony, pianist Gene Harris, bassist Henry Franklin & drummer Carl Burnett perform music composed, arranged & conducted by Monk Higgins augmented by woodwinds, brass & strings including the extended title track, a soul jazz opus of orchestral groove.

    This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
