A pioneer of psychedelic rock, Hendrix was one of the most revolutionary artists to come out of the sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll scene of the 1960s. Although his career and life were cut tragically short, Hendrix is still regarded as one of the most influential figures in 20th-century music and in the entire history of rock.
