The Beastie Boys’ name is synonymous with 80s and 90s hip-hop. A band born at the golden age of early rap, The Beastie Boys formed in 1981. The band comprised three young MCs – Mike D, MCA, and Ad-Rock. The three were known for their irreverent humor, clever lyrics, abrasive, rocky beats, and energetic live shows. The Beastie Boys are best known for hits like “Brass Monkey,” “Intergalactic,” and “Sabotage.”
