Vinyl LP pressing. 2017 release from the London-based French duo. Zooey recorded their brilliant collection of electronic retro pop songs over a three year period in their South London home studio. On this journey of freedom and escapism, Matthieu Beck (formerly of Adam Kesher) and Marie Merlet, long-time collaborator with Laetitia Sadier, evoke a cinematic and melancholic electro acoustic sound drawing on early Kraftwerk but simultaneously recalling Beach House or Metronomy. Mixed by Charlie Alex March (Nzaca Line and Veronica Falls) and Emmanuel Mario (Astroba, Julien Gasc).
